Call for Artists: FORBEARANCE
Dew World invites artists from all backgrounds to submit work for Forbearance, a juried group exhibition opening July 31st at The Gallery of my heART Gallery in Hyattsville, Maryland.
This exhibition explores the many expressions of forbearance—patience, resilience, compassion, endurance, healing, grace, forgiveness, hope, and quiet strength. We welcome artwork that reflects these ideas through personal stories, cultural experiences, or imaginative interpretations.
Artists working in all mediums are encouraged to apply, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media, textiles, printmaking, ceramics, digital art, and installation.
Submission Requirements
Submit up to 5 artworks
Include artwork title, medium, dimensions, year, and price (if applicable)
Artist statement or brief description (optional)
High-quality images of each artwork
Submission Deadline: Friday, July 17th at 11:59 PM
Selected artists will be notified after the submission deadline with exhibition details, installation dates, and next steps.
